Hello, dear friends and partners in Christian media-mission of the newspaper Kolokol! Thank you for your support of the projects which help people to know Jesus, to change their life, to become His disciple, to fulfill their calling.
How was it going the last months?

Our joint service with the churches in Russia and Belarus is bearing fruit! Churches use Kolokol for evangelism, and we make a special liner for non-believers, it called "Living in joy". The churches orders Kolokol to tell people about Christ in their cities: at events, in nursing homes, in hospitals and in the streets.
The believers also sign unbelievers for Kolokol.
What are the results?

The gospel, salvation, change
* Due to the fact that the Church in Mahilew tell about Christ and give people Kolokol, we recently receive a call from non-believer man who wants to know more about God and subscribe to Kolokol. There are many such people!
* Partner of Kolokol ministry Svetlana (she lives in the village near Minsk) has signed a house (apartment building) on Kolokol for 3 months. One of the apartments of this house was something like a hangout: there were drinking and rowdy, the suspicious people were coming there... Receiving the Christian newspaper Kolokol for three months, those family stopped drinking, their house became look better, they got curtains and flowers in the window... The Way of their life has changed.
* A similar situation occurred in Pastavy: a woman from the Church saw constantly drunk neighbor and decided to put Kolokol into her mailbox (also for three months). Then her neighbor stopped to drink.
* We know the cases when people wanted to commit suicide, but after reading Kolokol (which accidentally fallen into their hands) they refused these intentions. They converted to Christ and joined the Church.

Mission possible!
* Anna Luzina from Pskov (Church of Immanuel), the Director of the hotel "Pilgrim", wrote: "Thank you very much for the excellent newspaper Kolokol! It gives us the ability to give our guests an alternative to the secular press!". It is evangelism in the workplace – with the newspaper Kolokol.
* Not only at work but also on pension (like our partner Michael Romanovich from USA), and maternity leave (as, for example, Ludmila Zhuchik from the Brest area), anybody can serve God, signing people on Kolokol or ordering the newspaper as a gift for unbelievers. It does not matter if you know how to speak well: Kolokol will help each person to convey the gospel to others!
* We often do not have enough time to meet friends, to answer their questions and talk about God. Kolokol will make it instead of us. Many people use this opportunity: so, one brother of the Minsk church "New generation" has signed 11 of their friends on Kolokol.
* The Ministers and missionaries use Christian newspaper Kolokol at the planting of new churches.
The service of the newspaper Kolokol helps people not only to turn to Christ, but also to develop new life with God!

To strengthen the position of the Church in society – it is always easier when it is done through the media! Kolokol (which is sent by churches to the authorities) in each issue talks about how churches serve the community, their cities and people. We want to let thousands of people know that Christians and Christianity is the power of the country!
For example, recently we told about the festival "City of happy people", conducted in Minsk. It was devoted to strengthening family relationships, love, family values and protection of life. People like the the event very much! And 15 Evangelical churches were involved in it's preparation and conduction! We always try to convey it to people.

Promoting Christian and family values in society today – it is very serious challenge. Christian values are under attack in many countries. And Christian media is one of the most important weapons in this informational and cultural war for the minds of men. The Christians of Europe have already knew it.
At the recent European Leadership Forum, in which we participated (in Poland), it became clear that Kolokol is one of the most topical and competent newspapers today. To prevent a "lawless law" (that is happening today in many countries of Europe) we, Christians, need to support Christian media. And we thank you for your personal participation in this!

Youth and adolescents in conflict with the law: how to help them meet Jesus? We recently met with employees of the organization "World without borders", which helps teenagers who have committed crimes and live in special institutions. We decided that volunteers of "World without borders" will give young people the newspaper Kolokol. Many of the Teens are internally closed. But the newspaper can tell them hundreds of real life stories, answer hundreds of questions, be a good interlocutor. It can help there young people to know the love of Heavenly Father and to find a new way to see themselves, their future.

Kolokol ministry in prisons continues! We send the Christian newspaper to prison, although the prisoners themselves are unable to pay their own subscription. So thank you very much, dear friends, for your support free subscription for prisoners!
One of the prisoners, who began to receive Kolokol through a charitable subscription, recently sent a letter of thanks.
"I want to thank you, the command "Bell", for your work on God's field, for the newspaper! I read it with great pleasure and joy. I also share the newspaper with others. I will look forward to the next issue of the newspaper "Kolokol".

As you see, 1 copy of the newspaper is shared with many prisoners.

Many people accept Christ in prison. Reviewing their life, these people want to be ready for a new life after release. But there are those who can not wait for the release. Here is a letter from a man who is on life imprisonment:
"... I read your newspaper, and think that it is very useful for me! Here, in chains, I came to the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe in Jesus, and I repented of sins. There is a hope of the future life for me. Please, send me your newspaper. Kolokol is a great support and a reliable companion for me... This year is already 25th year without a release. All my relatives and friends died, and only the Lord and you now support me and help me...".

The newspaper Kolokol is one of the few ways to help such people.

Goals and purpose. To make God's influence spreading more, we ask you to pray for:
- the cooperation of the Newspaper with the churches in Belarus, Russia and other countries that affirmed Christian values;
- the ability to advertise a subscription to the newspaper on TV, and also Internet promotion of Kolokol – for more people to receive the message of the Word of God. For Internet development and advertising the newspaper we need new workers-professionals and finance;
- formal opportunities to accept donations (currently we have no way to create a public organization in Belarus, so we are looking for other options);
- new partners from the Lord;
- and, of course, the guidance of God in all that we do; the courage to follow Him!

European Leadership Forum. Kolokol took part in the Forum held in Poland. We met with colleagues and ministers from different countries, we have a lot of new contacts after that. Please pray with us for the results of those meetings: let them all be useful for the Kingdom of God. Let the communication between us will bring concrete fruits!
